2009 Tennis Clinic

The students were a real challenge. There weren't very many, which was a good thing, but they were fun. In the 10-under group I  had Mallory, Piper and Kevin for the whole summer, Rachel for just a few lessons. Only Rachel had any previous experience, but by the time she showed up Piper had become her equal. And special thanks to Kevin's mom and Piper & Mallory's grandma for their help.

I was not able to use the High School courts due to a summer school conflict. We were at Jacobsen Middle School which I don't recommend. I'm still working issues with TUSD and TVRPD to better arrangements for next year.   2009 started June 16, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00 - 10:00AM.  We played twice a week until August 13, then the kids came back to school and I could no longer use the courts.
